Tiffany Wedding Cake

I had the pleasure of making my very beautiful cousin’s wedding cake last weekend – some of you would have seen a few sneak peaks on my facebook page and been aware of my nerves when transporting the cake, but thankfully it all went well and the bride was happy with her cake 🙂

I coloured the cake using Americolor’s turquoise gel colour, cut out small circles for the polka dots and used my First Impressions mould for the pearl edged border.

The top and bottom tiers were dark chocolate mud cake with a chocolate Italian Meringue Buttercream (IMBC), and the middle tier was lemon mud with a lemon meringue buttercream (simply some lemon curd and some IMBC)

Here’s a silly pic of me with the cake

.. and two pics of the gorgeous couple!

Hi Bronnie, lovely work on the cake, so pretty. Just wondering what size cake tins did you use? thanks

      Hi Wirda – I honestly cannot remember but I think it was a 12″, 10″ and a 8″, or it would have been a 10″, 8″ and 6″.
