Easy Easter Cookies

It’s the last week of school for Term 1 and the girls really wanted to make some easter cookies for their teachers. I’m still getting over Ava’s party and wasn’t really up for anything too complicated, so I decided to try and make some really easy cookies :-)

I saw these gorgeous carrot and egg cookies by LilaLoa and then found the same cutters while I was out shopping… however, I didn’t really have the energy to make the carrot cookies and so ended up making bunny and egg cookies.

I found these cheap jars from the Reject Shop and bought them to use as the cookie containers

And then I tied a ribbon around the top :-)

To make the cookies – I have made another video tutorial :-)

…that’s right… now that I’ve started talking, you wont be able to shut me up!!

You were so sweet to mention me in your video. Thank you with a big hug :)
There is no such thing as a plain cookie, especially to those who don’t decorate sugar cookies. Your gift jars are very pretty with their ribbons and I know the kids teachers are going to love and appreciate your thoughtfulness.

    Hi Bron,
I just used your sprinkle idea on some butterfly cookies and they look adorable!! Thanks AGAIN! Emilia is turning 3 in week or so and has asked for a sprinkle cake so am thinking of just doing a cake with the sprinkle fondant…too easy!
