AntiOx Sugar Free Chocolate giveaway!

(Product talk by Nuffnang)

I hope everyone has been keeping well with the cold temperatures… or if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere – I hope you are enjoying some warm weather. I am jealous πŸ™‚

I was delighted to receive some AntiOx products in the mail to review…

AntioxIt was great timing because I was making a sugar/gluten/dairy free banana bread for a girlfriend who is undergoing chemo and consequently on a strict diet.

I based my recipe off Planning with Kids’ Banana Bread and added in a few twists.

The ingredients are as follows:

3 mashed bananas
2 blocks of AntiOx chocolate
3 eggs
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut cream
3 tbsp macadamia oil
1 1/2 cup almond meal
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
3 tbsp coconut flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp chopped walnuts

I will admit that the recipe was probably two blocks of AntiOx chocolate less a row of each which I ate as soon as I received it in the mail!!! Yummo πŸ™‚

First step is to mash up the banana and then whisk the eggs.

Whisk in the maple syrup, coconut cream and oil and once combined, add in the banana

Add in your dry ingredients

And last step is to chop up your chocolate and walnuts and stir into the mixture

Fill your prepared tray (and yes – it is not the most beautiful of mixtures to look at!) and bake in the oven for approx 40mins until a skewer comes out clean.

This recipe was devoured by my family and my girlfriend thought it was delicious as well. I know that many of you are trying plenty of sugar free recipes, so this chocolate (packed full of either goji or acai berries which are full of antioxidants) will definitely add a delicious flair to your baking πŸ™‚

A few days later we tried the snack bars for afternoon tea and they were fought over! Much like a healthy version of a cherry ripe, they didn’t last long in our house and it’s nice to know that they are packed full of antioxidants to help boost immunity (we definitely need it with 3 kids during winter time!)Β They come in 3 flavours – Acai, Gojo and Chia & Quinoa.

I would really like to try these as I am allergic to lactose and am not allowed much dairy products, which is hard because I LOVE chocolate. Also one of my best friends has diabetes and cannot eat normal chocolate so I would share half the prize with him.
Where can you buy this chocolate as I have never seen it before?
