On the flip side, white pans reflect light back into the oven. This prevents the contents of the dish from getting properly cooked.
5) A pan left in the oven for long periods of time might warp. Warping occurs when the pan becomes deformed after being exposed to excessive heat. For example, a warped pan won’t fit inside the oven anymore. Or, even worse, the pan might crack!
6) Pans should never go straight from the freezer to the oven. Doing so would make the pan cold before cooking begins. Cold pans conduct heat poorly.

Step 1 – Remove the Handle
You need to be careful here since removing the handle may break the pan. To avoid breaking the pan, first place it upside down over a sink or bowl. Then gently tap the edge of the pan against the countertop until all the pieces fall away. Once done, remove the handle.
Step 2 – Scrape Off Any Residue Left Behind
Now use a spoon to scrape any residue remaining behind. Use circular motions to ensure that no part is missed. After scraping, rinse the pan thoroughly with warm water.
Step 3 – Rinse Again
Next, pour boiling water onto the surface of the pan. Let it sit for about 30 seconds. Then drain the excess water. Repeat these steps two times. Finally, dry the pan by running hot water over it.
Step 4 – Dry With Paper Towels
Use paper towels to wipe the entire surface of the pan. Make sure not to rub too hard as doing so could scratch the finish. If necessary, repeat step four again.
Step 5 – Apply Wax
