What do you need to know to get started with about instant pot cooking?
To begin using your instant pot, you simply fill it with water and place the lid on top. After a couple of minutes, the display screen will explain "instant pot" and the indicator light will turn green. This indicates that the unit is ready to cook. To begin cooking, select the function you wish to use from the menu system. For example, if you choose sauteing, the display screen will change to explain the word "saute". Select the desired cooking method for example, saute and adjust the dials to set the desired cooking temperature. Once the cooking process starts, the display screen will indicate the progress of the cooking. When the cooking is complete, the display screen will read "ready", and the indicator light will flash red. Remove the lid and serve immediately.

Fill level refers to how full the Instant Pot is. It is measured from the top of the inner pot to the top of the fill line. For example, if the fill level is set to "Full", the Instant Pot is filled to the brim. If the fill level is set at "Half", the Instant Pot is half full.

Why won’t My Instant Pot reaches pressure?
If you are using a 6 quart model, you will need to set the dials to “Sauté” mode and adjust the heat setting to 4.5. Press the “Cancel” button and wait until the display reads “Keep Warm”. Once the display says “Pressure Cooking”, press the “Start” button. Your pressure cooker will now begin to release pressure. It will take about 20 minutes for the pressure to build back up. Once the pressure is released, remove the lid and let the pressure return to normal.
